Vanderbilt Program in Research Administration Development (VPRAD)
Staff responsible for Medical Center Audits present a session discussing research compliance and the role of Internal Audit. VPRAD is an educational program, offered quarterly, that is designed to support research professionals with the knowledge, skills, and experiences that are crucial to job performance.
The Associate Vice Chancellor serves on both the Administrative Compliance Committee and the VUMC Compliance and Corporate Integrity Committee. These committees monitor and assist the University in compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
Medipac Financial User Forum
The Associate Director responsible for Medical Center Audits serves on the Medipac Financial User Forum, which evaluates user requests and assigns Informatics resources for problems identified with the hospital billing system (Medipac) and other hospital ancillary system interfaces.
Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance Committee
The Associate Director responsible for University Audits serves on the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance Committee, which evaluates compliance with the data security standards required by PCI.
Record Retention and Destruction Steering Committee
The Associate Director responsible for University Audits serves on the Record Retention and Destruction Steering Committee, which serves to codify and simplify document retention and destruction procedures across the University.
University Conflicts Committee
The Associate Vice Chancellor serves as a resource on conflict matters in which the University’s mission, philosophy and overall purpose could potentially be compromised.
